We’re back to work at The Ivy and would love your help.

There’s a range of jobs to tackle throughout the day, listed below, and the more hands we have, the more we’ll be able to get done. If you’re able to bring along any of the items listed under required materials, that would be hugely appreciated.

Removal of furniture and artifacts

Removal of furniture and artefacts from the pub and storing them in the container sighted in the car park.

Hi Viz, Hard Hat, Gloves, Goggles

Kitchen Renovation
Making a start on removing Kitchen equipment, cleaning the equipment, and temporarily storing it in the container for inventorying and subsequent disposal.
Required tools/materials
Bleach, sponges, cloths, rubber gloves essential for cleaning and initial handling if you could bring some along.
Supplied tools/materials
Hi-Viz, Helmets, FFP3 masks and gloves provided.
Continued window restoration (where appropriate)

Timings

9:00am: If you have not previously read, understood and signed the Friends of The Ivy Health and Safety policy, please arrive for the Health and Safety briefing at 9:00am.

9:30am: Arrive at the main site entrance at The Ivy to be signed in and granted access.

PPE Requirements

You will be required to wear the following personal protective equipment for these tasks. Any items in bold you will need to provide yourself, all other items will be provided by Friends of The Ivy Limited:

  • Hi-Viz jacket
  • Safety Helmet
  • Stout footwear

PLEASE NOTE:

Caution when moving outside, digging machinery may be in action.

When signing up to help, please also state what tools and materials you would be able to bring along from the list against each task.
