Donations
Our community share offer is now closed—THANK YOU to everyone who bought shares.
If you would still like to make a donation to Friends of The Ivy you can do so using the form below.
We can accept donations either by credit/debit card or bank transfer. Thank you for generously considering a donation, please note:
- A donation is a gift of money to Friends of The Ivy Community Benefit Scheme that does NOT result in share ownership
- A donation does NOT give you any voting rights at Friends of The Ivy shareholder meetings
- After the building has been purchased, donations will NOT be refunded at any time for any reason except at the absolute discretion of the management committee
- You must still read the share prospectus and we recommend you read the business plan too
- The minimum donation we can accept is £10 in order to cover admin and processing costs
- As Friends of The Ivy Limited is a Community Benefit Society rather than a registered charity, we cannot claim Gift Aid on your donation
If you haven’t already done so, we recommend that you request a copy of the Share Prospectus. This provides details of what we plan to do, and although donations don’t make you a shareholder, the document explains how your money will be used!
