Our December Pop up Pub on Friday 19th December is going to be a Village Christmas Party. The bar will open at 7pm and we will be serving mulled wine and cider alongside the usual drinks, and sharing home-made mince pies. On the same night, the “Carols Around the Village” team – supported by Heddington Amateur Dramatics Association – will be doing their annual Christmas tour around the village. This year they are raising money for the Church’s kitchen and loo project. At the end of their circuit they are going to park outside the Village Hall where traditionally Mike Alexander and Sally Haskins supply them with festive mince pies. We will also give them a drink from the bar. Weather permitting we can then all make our way along to the Heddington Christmas Tree in the Royal British Legion memorial garden. This beautiful tree has kindly been donated to us by Blacklands Trees and decorated by the Craft and Chat group. Beside the tree will be the perfect place for us all to join in singing a few Christmas carols.
So many of our organisations will be represented in this fun evening, and it will be a wonderful way for us to celebrate all the things our community has achieved this year.
Dig out your Christmas jumpers and glittery tops for this special night!
