We are pleased to share that the Architectural Heritage Fund have agreed to provide funding under their Project Viability Grant.
The Project Viability Grant is given to select projects that aim to preserve buildings of heritage value. The fund considers several factors when granting funding:
- Community importance
- Potential to secure community ownership
- Social and economic impact of the project
- Potential to increase the vitality of heritage buildings
- Benefit to diverse communities
- Environmental impact
- Potential risk
Friends of The Ivy consider this funding to be more than just financial help. It is a vote of confidence from the Architectural Heritage Fund, a highly respected and knowledgeable national organisation who see the importance and the viability of our Community Benefit Society. This is one of several ongoing applications to receive supplemental funding for the benefit of our community.
